Results of a Thought

To start this off, I just want to mention how glad I am to have a few days off to just unwind. Last week, and this past weekend were hectic. So Sunday through today, I’ve been able to sit back and just let my thoughts come to me, and I came across a thought this morning after reading this article, and that is, why I like to write?
I’ve been blogging, on the personal end, for a little over a year now, and I’ve loved basically every minute of it, even in the times that almost got me in trouble. Would it have been worth getting in trouble for? Who knows, but I know that when my blog came to an end, I felt a little relieved knowing that I could somehow vent my thoughts. Lessons were learned from what happened, and I think my writing matured from those situations.
I consider myself to have a pretty heavy thought process, and I tend to question just about everything that isn’t as clear as day to me, or question something that I don’t agree with. Aside from wanting to write about things under those two categories, I just over all like the creative thought process. What got me into liking to write is this creative writing class that I took a few years ago. I loved being able to express my creativity through a pen (or cpu). We had certain assignments is that class where the prof. would just let us have at it with our imagination, obviously following some guidelines, but not many. I loved it.
I’m not one to be big on writing with an actual pen these days, so once Bill introduced me to blogs it was most certainly game time. So yes I guess I can credit my blogging partially to Bill, who doesn’t blog anymore!! But anyways, ever since I’ve started, I’ve just felt so comfortbale being able to express thought and vent when I need to. I wouldn’t exactly say it’s stress relieving because well when you need to relieve stress you need to go to the gym, or hit a punching bag, or scream into a pillow (which works very well). And on the flip side, when you need to vent, you just need to express thought/feeling and get words out.
So overall, yes, I love to write, especially when I have topics in mind. I really wish I had all of my old blog posts from when I first started because I definitely feel that my writing style has progressed and matured since then. If you have been reading my blogs from the start, would you agree?

[...] So I’m trying to set up a blog network. Not exactly sure how I’m going to go about this, but I want to do it. The biggest challenge I see right now is finding people (preferably close friends) who like to blog. Most of the people that I know who ‘blog’ gave it up awhile ago. I obvsiously love blogging, so I want to do this with people who like to blog also. I pitched the idea to my boy Tyler, and he said he’s definitely on board to try this thing out. [...]
