Gaining Momentum

In football, when a team gains moment that means they are doing things right. They are putting together drives, executing good plays, and the crowd is on their side (sometimes). Overall, things are working very well and the more momentum the team gains, the more they are prepared for something, whether that be a field goal, touchdown, or even a win.
I envy your momentum.
Earlier this week I emailed this graphic designer that I worked with at MSU to keep in touch, and I told him about my new gig. That quote above was one of the things that he had wrote. It kind of made me open my eyes a little, about the momentum part. I really am gaining momentum. Lately, things have just been working for me. I’ve been making some good moves with my career, and with this job I just got, I’ve just felt really positive about it and this week has been going really well so far. At the same time, things are going extremely fast too.
I’m ready to knock out any kind of work that they want to throw at me, and it feels pretty good. The actual definition of “momentum” reads as follows…
force or speed of movement; impetus, as of a physical object or course of events
You can connect the dots. But as for my analogy above, and momentum preparing you for something, what does that mean with me? Who knows, but I am trying to keep this momentum going.
peace
