Almost a Full Blown Michigander

I finally caved. Ever since I came to Michigan in 2000, I had told myself that I was going to keep my phone number from Chicago. Six years have passed, and I have finally caved in getting a local phone number. But it didn’t come without reason. And if I were still with Verizon, I would stay true, but it was time to explore new horizons.
So the decision to move to a local number was a tough one. Which area code would I choose? 248? 586? 313? Well, I don’t really like the setup of the 248 numbers. I’m a visual thinker, so I wanted to go with something that looks nice. I didn’t like the numbers 313 either, so the verdict was 586. I like those numbers.
The big decision to switch numbers was because, I’m a nerd, and I’m going to need that iPhone that comes out in a couple months. Since Verizon opted not to carry the phone, it was time for us to part ways, and I’m now a Cingular man. So of course I had to get a new phone to temporarily hold me over until Apple releases the goodness. So to kick off the new gadget year of 07, I grabbed the Nokia E62…

It only cost me $100, which is real damn cheap, plus I got $50 coming back for the rebate. So I didn’t have to spend much money on it. I also needed something with the same/or more capabilities as my Moto Q. I need a full keyboard, full internet, and email access. Those are the minimum requirements.
So far, I really like the phone though, and it runs a lot smoother than my previous phone. So we will roll with this for a few until bigger and better things come.
So, there you go, I’m almost a full blown Michigander. I’m still holding firm with my ID and license plate! Things are still busy, and show no signs of slowing down. Tridea is doing awesome, and we’re in the process of locking down our third client! Good times. More to come soon.
Peace
