Queen Size!

I’ve needed a new bed for way too long. I’ve always had a bed that’s been way too small, and after awhile, sleep is just average instead of being good, like it should be. So today my new bed got delivered, which was a nice fluffy queen size. It’s nice. And I’m actually looking forward to going to bed.
I was supposed to have a new couch delivered too, but unfortunately it was too wide and couldn’t fit through the door, so I have to go back to Value City and pick out a different one. Little bit of a bummer on that front, but oh well. The furniture is all courtesy to Momma Philly, who ws visiting last weekend.
I also purchased myself……………another gadget. I was also in need of a new laptop because my Dell has been failing me, at best, for the past few months. Can’t even connect to the internet……so really, what use is that to me anymore. So I purchased a new and healthy MacBook Pro.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love this thing. It’s fast as hell, lightweight, and just all out a better laptop than I’ve ever had. So, my apartment is going through a much needed upgrade, and it’s a good feeling. I consider myself to be a very lucky person to, not only be able to afford to buy new stuff, but have a mom that can spoil it. It’s more appreciated that I can realy put into words.
In other good news, my company Tridea, just locked down our third client, and will begin work very shortly on that. Things are moving extremely well, and it’s nice to have that other bit of income rolling through outside of my normal day job. Who couldn’t use extra income?
I’ll throw some pictures up when I get my new furniture all set up, which hopefully will be this week. But my bed frame and new dresser won’t arrive, unfortunately, until May. But, non the less, I will be sleeping extra good tonight, and for quite awhile.
