Time For Some Cancun

It’s about damn time, that this day came. Normally, my weeks go back extremely fast, where I’d wake up at like 7:30 am on Monday, and by 5 pm, it’s Friday and I’m leaving work for a weekend off. Well, this week was not the case. It dragged……and dragged……….and just when it gets close…..drags even more.
It was a busy week though, and I think I swung about over 50 hours between the day gig and the side gig. I must say it was an interesting week though. So now, I time for a week off. I am mentally drained, and don’t think I could swing another 50-hour week within my head popping off.
My boy Carter asked me if I was going to do any work down there, and I responded with a very firm “hell no.” At first I thought I was going to bring my laptop, but then I figured that I wouldn’t be too happy if it got stolen. In fact, I’d be ready to kill someone if they stole my laptop. I’d have to go around slapping everybody! But that’s nor here no there.
So no, I will not be doing work. I need a week away from everything. Away from normal life, away from work, my apartment, bill, video games……everything. That hardest part will be not checking my email. I’m pretty sure there is some kind of business center in our hotel, so I’m sure I’ll go check my email at least a couple times. That’s just how I roll, and that is a very long time to be away from checking my email, when lately it’s been a task and then some with the clients lately. But that’s it. I won’t even respond to emails, I just want to be in the loop.
I spent a good chunk of last night downloading some tunes for the trip. Of course, we got some hip hop, some soul, some house. Basically music for all moods. I am going to take a whole lot of pictures. If I come back with less than, like, 200 pictures, I will consider that a disappointment. But, yeah, lots of pictures.
So anyways, thats all I got. I am about to finish packing, and get ready for this much needed vacation. I’ll be returning next Saturday, so expect some kind of write up within days after I get back. I’m outro!!
