Friday Morning Thought
Published on 26/10/07

I just rolled out of bed like 5 minutes ago, it’s still dark outside and really quiet. I like it. If I didn’t have to go to work this morning, I could knock out hella other work. These are the perfect conditions for me to get in the zone and bang out tons for work.
Anyways, I went to lunch with my boy Batio yesterday and we got on the topic of Microsofts’ $240 million investment in Facebook at only a 1.6% stake in the company. That makes Facebook “worth” $15 billion, and 23 year old Zuckerberg worth $3 billion.
I am not going to rant or ramble about that. Good for him. But a lot of [normal]people like to settle. Someone don’t want to be rich, they just want to be comfortable. I want to be rich, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t. I don’t want to settle for average, because I am too driven to accept average. I need more. I want more, therefore I strive for more. I probably won’t get to a $3 billion worth, but that’s cool with me, I just want to be better than average.
Time for work.
Peace
