Just to be clear, Philly State of Mind has nothing to do with actual city of Philly (Philadelphia). I live in Michigan. So anyways…

I am John Phillips, and this is my personal stomping ground. I always seem to have thoughts on the world around me, whether it be something in my personal life, on the news, or whatever. I just like to write and get thoughts out, and this is where you will find those thoughts.

I would consider myself a very passionate designer. I like anything and everything creative, and I’ve always considered myself a creative person. I save most of my thoughts about design for my other blog, simply because most of the people that read this aren’t designers. I also needed a place to slip out of professional mode.
