So a few weeks ago when we all got together at Kell’s, Steve took a few pics, because I took not one. So here are a few of the ones that he took. Some are kind of dark and there aren’t that many. But some are better than none.
Ok so the new Playstation 3 comes out in a week or two, and there are already people camping outside of Best Buy. Now that is just insane to me, but I guess I’ll give them some credit for their patience and hard work. Here is a quote pulled from a guy who interviewed some of the campers; “Apparently one of the campers called in sick (for two weeks?), and had to postpone his engagement to divert the ring fund to a PlayStation 3, while another guy quit his job altogether.” That’s die hard right there.
In all honesty, I didn’t vote, and normally don’t. Reason? Just never been interested in politics, nor talk about it. If you know me, you know I stray away from political talk for the most part. So knowing that I don’t normally vote, I don’t feel it is my place to debate or bitch about certain policies. Of course I have opinions about stuff though. I will vote next time though. I’m not getting any younger, so politics and the economy are starting to affect me more and more. I’m also not a Michigan resident….officially.
So I mentioned my “In a Minute” series that I am going to start. Well I am going to change the name because a minute just isn’t enough time. I’m thinking that 2-3 minutes is a little better, and I can be a little more flexible. Therefore, the new name of the series will be called “Long Story Short.” Though I like the first name better, this one is still a cool name. So there you have it.
Having someone tell you that they enjoy your writing is a good feeling. I was sitting at work and got emailed a comment from my blog system, for me to approve. So this guy had commented on one of my posts, and he seemed to show an interest in my writing. He even threw out a quick tip for me on my writing, which was also nice. “I’ve certainly subscribed.” Subscribed to my website that is. That’s sweet.
