You know what, I’m not even mad that the Colts won. They played like they were expected to play. I’m not even completely upset that the Bears lost. They deserved to with that performance. What pisses me off, is that I don’t think I’ve seen them play worse this season. Yes they’ve had some bad games in the season, but damn. Hester was the only one that came to play. He’s on special teams. Something is wrong with that.

You can’t outplay someone who doesn’t even show up to play in the first place. The Bears looked like pure shit. Hester returning the opening kick couldn’t keep the team hyped up enough to play even half decent throughout the game. I don’t even need to go into detail on how awful Grossman looked: fumbles, interceptions, few yards passing………..enough said. WTF?!

The defense just didn’t think it was necessary to do anything about the short yard passes that seemed to gain Peyton all of his passing yards for the game. I think the Lions would have put up a better offensive fight than the Bears did. Pure disappointment.

So, as a result, the better team won. The Colts deserve the trophy. And Peyton [finally] deserves his ring. The better team won, and unfortunately, it was not the Bears. So I will go to bed extremely salted tonight, and try to shake this one off. But we’re not happy about this one.

Peace

For the past month, I have kept my mouth closed. Ever since I got the news that the Gators were going to the big dance, I stayed passive. I didn’t run off at the mouth at all. I knew that the Gators wouldn’t have an easy match against the Buckeyes, because well, they’re the Buckeyes. I didn’t think that the Gators would lose, but I did know that it would be a tough game for them. But you know what, this is for all who doubted….

GO GATORS!!!

We now have a new national champion! They earned the shit out of that title too. Their season was quite less than crisp, but you know what, it all paid off. I did, however, expect a completely different game though. Since the Gators are my squad, I can’t really be that disappointed.

So, we obviously saw the Gators whipping ass, but seriously, where were the Buckeyes? I don’t have anything against them, because I’ve enjoyed watching them play all season, but damn, the play horrible. I mean, we’re talking just an awful performance. Florida played real damn good too, but the OSU offense was non-existent.

Ginn was unfortunately injured, which couldn’t have come at a worse time. I don’t think he would have been that much more of a factor though. Troy Smith looked the worst he’s ever looked, which made Chris Leak look even better!

All the piece of crap commentators and announcers and analysts can now kiss my caramel colored ass! All the damn hype that Michigan could be in the big game, and look where they are. Soaking up their lose to USC. All those people saying that no one else can compete with the Buckeyes, and look who will be out celebrating tonight?! THE FLORIDA GATORS!

It’s sad to see the college football season over though, but at least it ended how I wanted it to. Of course I would like to see Michigan State win one, but let’s be realistic. That will never happen. Sorry about your Buckeyes Bill, but the better team won!!! To celebrate, I am going to order myself a brand new Gators hoodie!

And again…..GO GATORS!!!

Peace

So the game has come and gone, and it was one of the best games I’ve watched in a very long time. Both teams lived up to all of the hype that has been building up for the whole season. My latest guest blogger had his prediction of Michigan coming out victorious, yet I thought otherwise, and I was right!

So OSU came out on top, so what do I think about the game? Well OSU showed that they were the best team in the country. Troy Smith was on top of his game the whole time and basically sealed up his Heisman trophy. I wanted to see a shootout of a game instead of a defensive game, but I didn’t think the scoring would be that high.

I was watching a post-game interview with Mike Hart and he was yapping about OSU’s defense not being all that great and that if he had a rematch the turnout would be alot different. Well Mr. Mike Hart, you had your chance. You didn’t capitalize on their “not so great” defense. Michigan had their chances but they shot themselves in the foot. They didn’t take advantage of the turnovers.

Michigan committed a dumb ass penalty of a helmet-to-helmet hit on Troy Smith on a very critical 3rd and 15. Who’s fault is that?! Therefore, the Buckeyes capitalized on that. Second, in Michigan’s first drive, they were solid as hell. Came out passing quite a bit and actually looked like an aggressive offense. After that first drive, Lloyd Carr gave up that plan of attack and went conservative again…typical. You can’t beat the Buckeyes playing conservative because they put up mad points.

Everyone wants to see a rematch for the national championship, and who knows, maybe this actual game was the championship. Me personally, I don’t want to see Michigan in the big game. They had their chance and didn’t win, so now someone else should have a chance. Everyone is thinking USC if they win out but not many are mentioning Florida. Of course I’m a Gators fan, but seriously, why is no one ruling them in? They have had one of the hardest schedules in all of football, way harder than Michigan, USC, and Notre Dame. If they win out, I think they should be in the big game.

Can they beat OSU? I really don’t know, because OSU is hella solid, I can’t even act like they aren’t. But I would like to see Florida have a shot. If not Florida then sure I’d like to see USC play them as well. I just want to see someone have a chance against OSU because Michigan blew it, and late season losses like this should never allow you to get into the big game. I’d rather not Notre Dame go because I think they are highly over rated, but I wouldn’t mind seeing OSU whip the shit out of them.

The rest of the season is very important, because for all of this to really play out, USC, Florida, or ND have to win out to see how the BSC decides to fuck someone over. So I just look forward to seeing if all these teams tough it out to see who makes it to the big dance.

What do you think, and who would you like to see in the big game?

peace
