What Happened to Crazy?

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

So, I wasn’t even planning on writing on the tragedy that has hit the news. But then I read this article that is a little frustrating because of the idiocy of the media. No need to go into detail about the stuff that happened, just turn on the news and you’ll get your fill, but what’s lame, is that all of these media outlets try to pin all the wrong reasons on how a person can just flip out like that. Let the Barking Dogs Bark

Sunday, February 18th, 2007

You ever drive or walk by a dog fenced in and notice it start barking at you? You don’t know why it starts barking, but you know if you stop and try to approach to dog, it will probably keep barking louder and louder. You know that you didn’t really do anything mean to the dog for it to start barking, but it does anyways. The only way around the barking dog, is just to keep going. He will eventually find something else to bark at. (more…)

And We Have Fountains Everywhere…

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

So on the rare occasion that I watch MTV, I gave it a chance tonight because I wanted to check out this diary of Jay-Z. So I thought it was going to be about him being on tour and whatnot, but this was a little different. This one was about Jay working with the UN on some fresh water project. (more…)

Dying Doing What You Love

Tuesday, September 5th, 2006

Death is never good news, and no one ever wants to hear when someone else dies. Even if you never watched the Discovery Channel, I have a feeling that everyone knows who Steve Irwin aka the Crocodile Hunter. If you haven’t heard already, then I will break the news that he has death from a sting ray attack to the heart.

Now I don’t want to go on and on about the bad parts of what happened, but rather his life when he was here. I think he has been in physical contact with more animals than anyone else on this planet, and in my personal opinion, he was the best at what he does, and I really don’t think anyone else will ever take the place of that.

Even if you only watched like 10 minutes of his show, that’s all it took to realize that he had the most passion for his job out of almost anyone else I’ve ever seen in any other profession. He always treated animals with respect, and he obviously risked his life to show his love for animals to over 200 million people………..and that’s ridiculous. So even if you don’t like animals, you just have to have a level of respect for someone that risks his life to show his audience his passion.

So granted, it is very unfortunate that he has dying, but at the same time in trying to find the good with the bad, I think it is very commendable that he went out doing what he loved. I mean, if there was anyway I’d want to go out, it would be doing something that I loved, and you really can’t ask for more than that.
