Ambition

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

I would consider myself pretty damn ambitious. Having a somewhat clear vision of what I want to do drives my ambition. For the most part, I find various ways to motivate myself and boost my confidence just enough each time to get me closer to my goals. It may not exactly reflect sometimes, but it’s there. I can feel it.

But you know what makes me more ambitious? Seeing other people that are more ambitious than I am. I like to watch people (not in a stalker way) to see what kind of moves they make, how people operate, and take notes. A student of the game, if you will.

I like to know what drives other peoples’ ambitions. It drives me because I tell myself that I need to be even more ambitious than them to be successful in my own eyes. That’s what keeps me going. I will get there, and anything short of my vision of success is a failure.

2008 Already

Monday, January 7th, 2008

We are in full swing to 2008 and I’ve wasted no time in getting things in line for the new year. The end of 2007 was great with Christmas and the family, and an even better New Years with close ones. Now it’s 08 and it’s time to get back to business. I have some major things that I want to do this year that don’t exactly fall under the category of resolutions. I don’t do resolutions because they always fall dead after a few weeks and/or months.

But I do have goals both business wise and personal goals that I am very excited about. I don’t release details because I don’t want to jump the gun, but I’m trying to make some things happen. The year has started off busy already but that’s how I like it. I’ve been working on a redesign of our Tridea website, so hopefully that will go live soon.

I also found this service that seems really interesting and can allow me to have my own broadcast channel on the net. I’d love to somehow use that with the readers on this site to have some kinda live participation thing but I’m not sure how that would work just yet. I’d need to know who in the world my readers are, because right now I have no clue. But if that sounds like a good idea and/or interesting let me know

So, happy new year to all and I wish you all a great year.

Peace

Christmas Time

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

So Christmas is here already. This year flew by pretty quick, and this holiday season has been all kinds of busy. It’s been really good though, and I got all of my Christmas shopping done, even if it was a little late. My only disappointment is that I wasn’t able to find a Wii for my dad. Instead I got the reign check deal Gamestop has going on, where I pay for the Wii now and they call when they get them in, which is guaranteed before January 25th.

So even though my pops will get one, I won’t be here to set it up for him and show him how to play it with the family which is a bummer. No big deal though, it will still be a great day, and I plan on taking quite a few pictures, as I’ve already done a little since I’ve been home.

Anywho, it’s time to throw back some coffee and prep up for the day. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you have a good day. Maybe I’ll write another post about my gifts.

Quarter Century

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

So I’m 25 today. How do I feel? Well to be honest, I’m hella hungover. We had our holiday party last night, and it was open bar. That’s enough said, so I don’t feel good at all right now, and I really don’t feel like writing, but if I remember correctly, I normally write a blog on my birthday so I’d rather not break tradition. Surprisingly my mom still calls me and sings happy birthday.

Normally each year I say that I don’t feel older than the previous year, but this year it’s different. I feel like I’ve gone through a big transition over the past year in learning a lot about life and getting my shit together. Maturity is what they call it. I look back and think I’ve matured quite a bit in the last year, and I think 2008 is going to be a fantabulous year.

I have to stop there though because I hit the snooze bar too many times this morning and I need to get ready for work. So, happy birthday to me, and I gotta tough this day out with a hangover. I don’t think I’ll ever learn how to handle free juices at an open bar. Oh well.

Peace.

I’m Slacking

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

This damn blog just lingers. Every day I think about writing more here, and every day I want to write more, but life gets in the way. The more than I want to write here, the busier I get. I work all day, only to come home, and work more. That doesn’t bother me, but when I’m not working, I just don’t have it in me to write.

Maybe I’m addicted to my job and working. I feel like whenever I’m on my computer, I find something that needs to get done. When that gets done, I no longer want to be on the computer which is obviously a conflict of interest with this blog. I don’t plan on giving this blog up though, probably ever. Of all the blogs I write on, I still see this one lasting the longest.

So, maybe I’m not slacking. I’m just busy. And I will elaborate on my busy life soon, just not now…..of course.

That is all.

Peace
