This damn blog just lingers. Every day I think about writing more here, and every day I want to write more, but life gets in the way. The more than I want to write here, the busier I get. I work all day, only to come home, and work more. That doesn’t bother me, but when I’m not working, I just don’t have it in me to write.

Maybe I’m addicted to my job and working. I feel like whenever I’m on my computer, I find something that needs to get done. When that gets done, I no longer want to be on the computer which is obviously a conflict of interest with this blog. I don’t plan on giving this blog up though, probably ever. Of all the blogs I write on, I still see this one lasting the longest.

So, maybe I’m not slacking. I’m just busy. And I will elaborate on my busy life soon, just not now…..of course.

That is all.

Peace

Ok so I have a little task to handle soon. I’ve been writing on this particular blog for almost two years. I’ve been blogging for longer, but after a few [accidently] deleted databases of blogs, I’ve gained my footing and learned to not delete stuff…..for almost two years. I guess I didn’t think ahead when starting this blog, because the only categories I have for this blog are Life in and out of design, sound sessions, UWS, and guest blogs.

The problem with this is that when I want to go back and read about different topics, I have to dig through tons of blog posts. That is really annoying, and a little too time consuming. So now I need to go back and organize all that into more categories. I’ve talked about a whole lot of stuff here so I will need to break down all my blogs to these categories. That way, if I want to read about a certain topic I can hit up the category. That also makes my data organization a little better.

I have no idea how long this will take, and in no way am I looking forward to it, but it needs to be done. And since I don’t plan on stopping this blog, it’ll be important for me, and whoever the hell my few readers are, to find old stuff. So, there goes another item on my plate. Sweet.

I also realized that I dropped the ball on a few projects for this site. One being the documentary that I wanted to film. Well, not everyone wants to be in front of a camera, nor do I even have the kind of camera that I’d like to film with. It’s too expensive, and the project was waayy too time intensive. With a side company, that isn’t really feasible anymore. Oh well.

Sound Sessions have fallen off a little too. Well, ok, they fell off a lot. I can’t say that I’ve 100% given up on them, but I have no idea when I’ll write record another one. We’ll just leave the status of that as to be continued. I also haven’t had a guest blogger in a long time. I’m always open to have guest bloggers, so you if you want to write a post on my blog, let me know.

So now that I’m off the topic of organizing my data, I’m done here.

Peace

Ok, so I finally took some time last week to move this site and such over to a new domain name. Why? Because I wanted my blog to stand on it’s own two, and get away from the jwphill.com domain, since that is pretty tied to my designer blog.

I am going to stick with this look for a while, because not only do I like it, but I simply don’t have time to design something else fresh. Work is pretty busy as we try to get the ball rolling on our newest client in Arizona.

In the near future, though, I’m trying to go through all of my past blog posts and create more categories for the stuff that I’ve written. And in December, this blog will be 2 years old. I’ve been blogging for longer, but I’ve also deleted a few databases prior to two years ago and lost everything, which I hope to never do again.

Anyways, just thought I’d write something quick before work. The hardest part about trying to manage three blogs, is that I always get my ideas to write something during the day, while I’m at work, in which I can’t write during that time. Then I don’t have the same passion for that idea when I get home. That’s weak. I’m out.

Peace
